Our goal is to ensure that every unwanted item finds a new home, and that individuals, schools, and charities benefit from our ethical approach to recycling.
Next Best Clothing Ltd was established in 1990 and incorporated in 1998 in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, by Marcus Fitch-Peyton, in conjunction with his father. Built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and a genuine belief in the value of second-hand clothing, the business has grown over more than three decades into one of the UK's leading textile recycling and trading companies.
From the outset, the company's motto has guided everything we do: "To give everyone a fair chance to build a successful business or career, thereby improving the lives of themselves and their families." That philosophy shapes how we work with our partners, our staff, and the communities we serve.
We were among the first UK companies to export second-hand clothing to Russia and the emerging Soviet markets, and we have continued to push into new territories ever since. Today, Next Best Clothing operates through four trading brands and a team of over 100 colleagues across the UK and abroad. We are proud of our international, multilingual workforce and the relationships we have built with wholesale buyers across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
